Serviced and started weekly by collector’s personal mechanic. Gas kept fresh. Oil kept fresh. Battery kept current. During weekly inspections, starting and short drives, all components, whether it be lights, mechanical, leaks, A/C, power components, interior or exterior noise, tires, batteries, undercarriage or any other issue that may have presented itself was addressed and resolved on the spot. This car can be driven anywhere and any distance, just as if it were new.
This pro touring style restoration was performed by Seth Chatelain over the course of four years. As all collectors know, the 57 Chevy is one of the most sought after and popular cars on the market today. There are many differing types of builds available for the 57’s, but very few that are top of the line. This 57 is by all means top of the line.
The build was performed with every professional touch from some of the best in the industry. the metal work on the car is perfect in every way and the paint is immaculate.
Initial sheet metal work performed by Seth Chatelain, Bruno Muenzler and Brandon Weldon
This build utilized a complete acid strip and E-Coating by Metal Finishing of Jackson, MS.
Final sheet metal work and body & paint were performed by Hot Rod Joes of Lafayette, LA.
Custom interior installed and worked by Antioch Auto Trim along with collaboration by Seth Chatelain.
Custom built chassis with C4 Corvette suspension by Street Rod Garage.
Custom built LS 6.0 engine by Regal Performance and spec camshaft and tuning by Engine Power Systems.
T56 Transmission with upgraded internal components along with a Dana 44 Differential with 4:30 gears built by Zimmer Gears.
Chrome work and polishing by Chrome Man of Baton Rouge, LA. and Sport Chrome of Houston, TX
